The Václav Havel’s Place was unveiled in connection with the 50th edition of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Along with Mayor Petr Kulhánek (Karlovy Vary Civic Alternative), it was unveiled by Dagmar Havlová, Minister of Culture Daniel Herman (Christian Democrats) and the director of the Václav Havel Library, Marta Smolíková.
