Václav Havel tributes set for Smetana’s Litomyšl festival

Among the accompanying events at the 54th Smetana’s Litomyšl International Opera Festival will be tributes to the memory of Václav Havel.
The installation, A Heart for Václav Havel, a sculptural piece by Lukáš Gavlovský and Roman Švejda, created from the remains of candles that people lit in honour of the late president around the country, will be located in the courtyard of the Chateau Park. Meanwhile, an exhibition of photographs by Oldřich Škácha entitled “Havel Forever” will be on display in the halls of the former Chateau Brewery.
