Michael Žantovský on Václav Havel

Michael Žantovský, a former close associate of Václav Havel and the current Czech ambassador to the UK, has been working on a biography of the late leader. “I will try to write a standard biography of the president, i.e. a book from an insider’s perspective that is still unbiased. It certainly shouldn’t be about my relationship with Havel,” Žantovský told the newspaper Hospodářské noviny. The book should be published first in English in 2014, on the 25th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution.
